InsulTech’s direct welded metal foil heat shields achieve full encapsulation by through AWS D17.2 class A resistance welding to the metal substrate.   This solution is suitable for harsh environments where minimal space claim is available. They also resist vibration, hold-up to pressure washing, and can withstand flammable liquids. Our experience includes piping, tubing and castings. InsulTech offers sourcing and procurement services for these products. InsulTech offers painting when required.  In-house tooling is available.  High durability materials are used to maximize performance over total lifecycle. Direct welded foil heat shields  are capable of direct exposure to flames without risk of burning or permanently deforming. They are also are easy to maintain, and various cleaning methods, including solvent and steam cleaning, are acceptable and will not cause degradation.
